question on new revision

just installed new 03 revision and had a few interesting moments.
1. after backing up the original headlights stayed on
2. when updating trans functions tuner froze
3. unplugged tuner and started car, car started but stalled after a few seconds. repeated process and car ran.
4. reattached tuner and started all over, this time everything went as it was supposed to.
maybe it was just a brain fart on my cars part but I thought I would let you know.

will do. one other note, the tuner stopped working at the trans function. I could hear the click from the pcm and it just stopped at that point. second attempt went fine.

well I just reinstalled original and redid the installation and the same conditions pop up as noted before. It stops at the key on/off under mode 2.

it seems atleast on my car that after you do the backup you have to turn car off unplug tuner, that plug in tuner, turn car to on and than install tune

Strange issues with this and 9R02 also. got a -10 return code, stating performance tune was already installed (it was stock). had to retry several times to get tune to load. The older releases of tunes (the 8 series) were much more reliable and I never had issues. THese 9 series give me all kinds of fits loading

My 2008 did the same thing.

Same Kinda thing happened. Running 89 octane right now so all I wanted to do is increase shift firmness and up the shift points with rev limiter on the stock tune. Predator froze while updating shift firmness with 9r03 (right after the key off/on procedure the hourglass came on and that was it). Airbag light and check engine light stayed on. Started Car, shut off car, unplugged Predator, turned key on, plugged in predator, restored factory tune to be 100% sure everything was good, updated shift firmness okay this time, upped the shift points (rev limiter too) okay! I think there might be a small bug-a-boo on the trans functions.

yes it only happens after you take your original backup and go directly to the diablo tune. I did it twice with same result. It works fine as long as you unplug the tuner after taking your original backup and than plugging it back in,than install the tune and trans. function you want.

We saw this issue here this morning, will be addressed in next update.
For now just go ahead and install tune first then do the quick adjust, this will only happen after you take a backup and attempt to adjust quick adjust.
