I3 Needs an Update

So each time I plug this new out of the box I3 into this factory s2 PCM for a 2004 Dodge SRT4, it tells me I need an update. I did the update via wifi and everything looked good. However, the unit is still telling me it needs an update when trying to load the 93 oct tune. When I check for updates via wifi again, the unit says no updates available.
