T2 is unable to download the backup

Post by bumbur19 »

Hello!

I've bought new T2 for Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT 2014 MY.
T2 is unable to download the backup from ECU due to the crash during the download process.
T2 exits to the main menu at the beginning of the download process after displaying the message "PCM Original Backup Log Exporting" (please see photo attached).
No codes are shown.
I've installed all updates for T2, but this issue still exists.
I would appreciate any help with this issue.

I also have one more question, how wideband can be plugged into the T2?

have you updated the device?
Has this vehicle been previously tuned by any other tuning platforms?

Thanks

The T2 was completely updated and the ECU was reflashed by the dealer.
However, I still have above issues.
In order to tune the vehicle I decided to use T1 and it works fine.
Therefore, I beleive that the probleme is in the T2.

Is there any way to connect AFR wideband to the T2?
I noticed service port on the T2 cable, but there is no info about how it can be used.

Mikel, will you be able to provide me with the solution to my issue?
I've tried two new T2 and both filed during the backup reading attempt.
The ECU was completely reflashed by the dealer.
Previously this vehicle was tuned by the HP tuner.
However, T1 works fine with it.
What shall I do to solve this issue?

Im not sure how the t1 works, but if you used HPt to flash it then it has their bootloader in the pcm and our tools will generally not work.
