2007 jeep srt8 not logging correctly?

Post by redvapor01 »

Data log wont work. 2 Part question. I have a 2007 jeep srt8 and we are trying to send files and I am being told that it is not recording all the data. I called about 3 weeks ago was told it would be up-channeled to engineering and nothing yet. Please help. Second question is most of the pictures it shows a boost gauge on the right side. I have looked in the pids.... what am I missing

Can you elaborate on the logging issue?
there is no boost pid for the SRT8 models, not sure what you may have seen. Maybe it was a picture from a factory boosted vehicle?

The only pid I get or save are 7 pids (engine RPM, MAP 2/1 long term adap, 1/2 o2 volts, baro obd2, control mod V obd2, and Map obd2) all the rest of the pids on the logger don't show up. also no aux input as of yet. any ETA? I Sent the logs to Demon performance and Jersey boy and both say it wont help with tuning. If you send me your email I will send you the logs that i sent to your company before. I'm using and old Trinity right now to get me tuned but it kinda sucks that I paid for this and it doesn't work. With the old trinity if I go to DCX 07 default all pids show up which you can check or uncheck. Also as far as the boost information look at your ads under trinity2 every picture on your web page has boost on the right side to include the jeep. The instructions really don't talk much about what PIDS there are. Thanks in advance

Please post the logs here.

As mentioned, the pic you are seeing are likely from a different vehicle that has a Boost PID.
Naturally aspirated vehicles rarely if ewver have a boost pid.

this log has 16 PIDs which I believe are the correct defauls for this application. I this not what you see when you open the log?

no I only see the seven that I told you about. I am using data viewer 3.4.2.5 is there some other update? Skip at Demon performance saw the same things that I did.

Went to horsepower wars (had a great time) and from showing the crew what is happening It has been up channeled to research/tuning. they showed me a work around by loading one of your can logs first(f150 parking lot) and than all pids show. SO they are telling me they can duplicate the same issue that I have and they are working to correct it. thanks again for helping :D

are you logging directly to the device or streaming the log to dataviewer?

logging straight to the device. When we talked last you were working the issue... anything yet? and how about the cord for aux input? Anything? I got another update today and still no pids pop out, just the ones I listed before.

Anything yet? this is crazy. you shouldn't take the trinity off line until you have this one working... No way to log or update vehicle... no analog input yet... Can I trade this thing for something that works?
