Problem with u7131-9r01

Post by Polishammer »

Guys,

I have posted before that after installing newest revision on my U7131, it seemed that the truck has less power than previously. It was stated that nothing in the programming changed, just some behind the scenes issues. OK, now I have run few tanks of diesel after the update, and my MPG went down to 12 MPG from 16 MPG on previous revision (never saw an increase from stock). I have uninstalled the predator completely and my millage went up to about 16MPG. All hand calculated.
I have been running economy tune on both revisions.
I don't know, but I could swear that the new revision changed other things than what is mentioned, at least on my truck.
Any suggestions?

Actually, I believe I've noticed a difference. Only I run the U7130 and have just recently upgraded the crom file. It felt to me like there was less power, I switched back to r27 and all is well. Aren't the factory tunes loaded in the crom files?

Well, for u7130, the tunes in 9r01 are EXACTLY the same as the previous revision, same for U7131...
