pyro installation

need info on installing the probe for my pyro. some people are telling me to put it in the manifold and others at the down pipe. its an 06 dodge cummins does anybody know where to place for an accurate reading?

Either place will be accurate. The manifold location will show higher temps than downpipe, my personal preference is downpipe as close to the turbo as possible. The difference between the pre and post turbo temps are around 300 degrees.
