2008 SD 6.4 RE-GEN ISSUES

10K MILES AND RUNNING ECONOMY PROGRAM...SEEMS TO RUN FINE FOR A WHILE THEN IT TANKS, SEEMS LIKE IT GETS STUCK IN RE-GEN MODE, THEN CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND ALL IS FINE AGAIN. IS THERE AN UPDATE FOR THE PROGRAMER I SHOULD TRY?

Regeneration will take longer at idle than it would cruising down the freeway running at a higher rpm. Can you provide more info, like how long its in regeneration? And if you are letting it idle through the process. The factory strategy limits engine power while in regeneration.

IT STAYS IN RE-GEN FOR DAYS, LAST TIME IT WAS APPX 100 MILES, TGHE BIGGEST SACRIFICE IS ECONOMY AND THAT AWFUL NOISE THE TURBO MAKES AT SHUT DOWN

100 miles of regen?
Try removing the tune and run the truck for a day or two to see if it still regens that long, if so, a trip to the dealer is in order.

Also with the predator plugged into the truck Key On Engine Off, go to Diagnostics/Show Calid and please repost calibration Ids that the predator gives you.
