I just purchased a U7192 for my 06 Silverado and see there are 3 user adjustable torque management options but no details are given in the user guide and only limited info on the product portion of this website. I know what TM is and what is does I just don't want to damage my new $40k truck by removing all the TM:) Could you please explain what each of the 3 different settings are and how they effect the TM? I also see that some is removed in the performance tune but can you tell me how much? I have read you can only safely remove so much before you begin risking damage to the drivetrain??? Thank You.

Re: U7192
The amount of TM removed in the performance tune is simply enough to keep it out of your way in performance driving situations. At stock/near stock power levels, it will still 'protect' the driveline from abuse. I would suggest for your purposes, that you leave the three TM settings the way they are in the performance tune.bigdave wrote:I just purchased a U7192 for my 06 Silverado and see there are 3 user adjustable torque management options but no details are given in the user guide and only limited info on the product portion of this website. 2006 GTO M6 Kooks headers, catted mid, Magnaflow cat back. SLP UD pulley, Volant CAI, SLP 160 Thermostat
DiavloSport II SLP7190, purchsed Feb 2007 from Maryland Speed,
Have already installed 455 Bobcat tune
Like Big Dave, I'm not sure what to do with the three TM settings. Should I turn them off, or does the 455 Bobcat already set TM?
Also, EGR. OK to disable MPH ? And what about the various P codes?
Basically what I am asking is other than TM, has everything else already been set by the 455 Bobcat tune?
Thanks.

RE: Re: U7192
The GTO pred does not have TM settings, the remove it with their tune.
The same unit does not have EGR nor P-code deletes, the slp tunes disabled the various codes that would of been set by the longtubes.
