I have been reading a lot on other forums and there has been a lot of talk like there is only two types of people running the predator the ones that have blown there head gaskets and ones that will blow them. in short all they say about this product is that it will blow out the head gaskets, and they can't figure out why they don't change the program to keep it safer to head gaskets. I was just wondering is any of this true, cause they really run down this product.

Would you provide links to where people are saying such things?

RE: wondering about my head gaskets
Lol, it is so not a Predator issue, it is a FORD issue.
These 6.0s will puke a headgasket in stock form if you pull a heavy trailer up a hill, so adding more power, boost and fuel to one may increase the likely hood of this happening.
Now, there are trucks that seem to not have this issue, like the ones that were built during the middle of the week, but if you got a Monday truck, it may spit out a bit of coolant.
I am 100% sure that if you keep researching, there is no direct correlation between the Predator and this issue. Pretty much any aftermarket programmer that makes extra power on a 6.0 would fall into the same category.
The fix is to add head studs to the 6.0 to make it a more 'proper' motor...
Thanks

I have an 08 6.4. Did ford fix the problem with these engines or are they still susceptable to head gasket failures?
