get a pc interface kit if you dont already have them (you can buy the cable and power adaptor locally at places like radioshack). Then read the stickie threads at the top of this forum on how to datalog with your predator and use the DSLogRedux software.

This will give you recommendations for how to adjust the fuel and timing to for optimal performance. Then repeat the process to verify your changes. This will help to dial in your tuning based on how your actual vehicle responds to the gas quality you have etc.

Here is the sticky he is referring to.. It is telling you how to set your LTFTs or Long Term Fuel Trims..

After this you will feel quite boost and and will likely get better gas mileage.

You don't need the interface kit to do this.. But it does help get a larger set of data points which helps with accuracy..

You can just do more.. That is all.. The diablo tune is good the dial in is better..

Up to you if you would like to leave it at that.

Really is not as complicated as it sounds.

For instance you can have someone monitor your LTFTs as you drive. Just start the engine and plu the predator into its port. Then open the predator for diagnostics/logging and look at the realtime data.

after getting an average at a stady 1800 to 2500 RPMs then come on here and tell us what your average was for both banks..

No PC required. Then we will help you set the injector slope to bring it in line more.

is that .78 an average? or is it a one time look?

If it is the average over that RPM range you can change injector slope -1 and you should be dialed in..

That easy...

You will have to drive 50 miles or so for it to fully take affect but after that you should be good.

You were already pretty close to where ya needed to be...

it won't always be the same, every time... but when you go for a steady drive/cruise, see what your bank 1 and bank 2 LTFT's are reading....

get an average for each bank...

and do it in the warmest/hottest time of the season for your area...

once you find that average, adjust your injector slope appropriately, and you'll be all set.

If you are logging in realtime (do not have to keep the log) just watch it for a few seconds every now and again..

or better yet have someone else watch it...

Then take an approx average...

Should become pretty obvious.. If you are locking in at ~0.78 then just move injector slope -1 and you will be done..

if you still have catalytic converters on your vehicle, leave it alone...

if you don't, then you can turn it off / disable it...
