Read a backup from vehicle FAILED

Post by Ak4712345 »

2013 dodge ram 1500 5.7 Just got the intune i3 did all the updates it asked, plugged it into my computer registered device last night. Go to tune today plug into my truck says it needs to update so let it do that. Click easytune 91 octane says. “The i3 will now read a backup from the vehicle. Tap yes to confirm or no to abort”. I click yes and then this comes up - “read failed”

Tried like 10 times. Any suggestions?

totally different issue if its an early GM, most likely some electronics interfering. is there an aftermarket radio or anything else wired into the truck?
