RE: 2005 GMC Sierra screen wont come on

Check the fuse that powers up your cigarette lighter, as that one is the culprit most of the time, but if is fine than a bad OBD2 connection. Good luck!

RE: GM new software to detect programming modifications

The only think I can think might show up is the reset of codes will be the only one as it will show a few hours indication that either was restored from a tune or a dead battery. But as 06 Monte states it would be very hard to point finger and blame to you if something is really bad and they want to ...

Mikel,

Will this be able to fix the issue that I had since day one on getting the tire size correct? As it seems that for some reason is not working as it show that I am 3 miles slower than GPS. I have a U7193 rev9r07 and running 275-55/20, I do not mind being off on the speedometer but it sure ...

Thank you scooter88, I seen that thread before, but you mention that with that crom file you were able to adjust for some parameters that were not working? including your tire size and injector slope?

RE: Re: Possible missfire, can I log for it?

MonteSS,

I thought so, becasue I was eventually giving it 100 miles, untill one day I travelled a long way and 3 gas tanks later I have seen very huge results from the last install, that I decided towait and on my next trip it happened again. Now I have to wait till temps get any where to 120 like ...

pwrjnky,

That is correct if you hit your tow/haul button and you do this succesfully you can use a differnt set of parameters that way.

Monte,

I mean no harm, I know what you meant bro, :-) I was just pointing a fact of the tuner, that in fact pwrjnky could have his very own tow/haul tunebut ...

pwrjnky,

In order for it to work you must first install one of the tunes, but before it gets installed it should give you the option to modified parameters any of the parametes that you might want to modify like tire size, throttle pressure, wot, fuel table, spark, injector slope, COT, or any of the ...

Dear Friends,

I have a Predator U7193 with the latest 9r07 revision, currecntly being used on a 2004 Chevy Avalanche. A few days I go I had my tires changed to a 275/55-20 and the thing is that when I imput such numbers to the predator either by the size of 32 inches or the 275/55-20 I get my ...

06Monte,

On the predator under the modify parameters section there is a way to modify your gears, and it will also give you a choice for the towhaul on a specific gear to modify it. For example on my truck I have it slightly up on the pressure on the 1 to 2 and on the 3 to 4 but on the tow haul ...

RE: Re: Possible missfire, can I log for it?

From my experice doing this, i have noticed that it for my 2004 Chevy Avalanche it doesn't take 50 to100miles, it takes about 2to 3 gas tanks to be able to see good results. At first the readings stay the same with some drop in performance but untill it settles it shows very good gains Just to give ...
