U7194 and general predator question

Question: I have U7194 for my 07 Silverado 2500. Can I plug my U7194 predator into my 02 Vette, simply to read engine parameters (like LTFT?)

thanks
Alex

I have a NBS crew cab short bed 2500HD with 6 speed tranny.

The truck is torque managed to death from the factory.

even though tranny support is not avail. yet (or may never be), I am happy that the power enrichment 4 sec delay is gone, and the ECM torque management is largely gone. the truck is ...

so when you hook up your predator, what version does it boot up with (ie, what predator version do you have?). Anything before 8r10 wont work on the 07 2500 HD. When it says you need an update, it should tell you the CAL IDs you have, what are they?

Anyway, I have an 07 2500 HD 6.0 crew cab, and ...

"diablo tune"

Ok, another question.
When I first programmed my truck (U7194), after it made the backup, the only tune selection I had was "diablo tune" after which it asked me to do an 87 octane or 93 octane tune. I did the 87 octane tune.

Well, now when I go into the "performance tune" menu on the predator, I ...

Another tuning question

When you adjust injector slope and advance for LTFT and PE AFR, should you periodically redo the adjustments in winter vs. the summer. In the midwest here, they use different reformulations of gas etc.

Or I guess a general question is, without actually modifying the car, how often should you take ...

U7194 8r10 question

So there is a 93 octane tune and an 87 octane tune that I can select from for my K motor 2007 NBS 2500HD 6.0.

So my questions:

1) If I plan to, say, use 89 otcane gas, which tune should I use as a starting point (at which I can fine tune LTFT, injector slopes etc) the 87 octane tune or 93 octane ...

not to mention a month or two for CAL ID support K series motors like my 2007 NBS Silverado 2500HD (6.0L). At least you can reprogram your computer, my U7194 is just a big brick. They had promised support back in May, which is only SIX MONTHS AGO!

U7194 does not work with 6.0 K motor (2007 NBS 2500 HD)

Ok, I have a 2007 Silveradio HD 6.0L gas motor (vin K)
and I have been griping since the beginning of MAY how the predator does not support my CALID (operating system 12618277). I paid $320 for the predator, and got responses like "in a couple weeks", to " in a couple months" to "we dont know ...

Hey at least you guys can at least program your vehicle with an engine tune. I have been promised support for my 6.0 Liter Silverado 2500 (new body style) for 3.5 months, but my CAL IDs are not supported yet (and they came out in March). At least your predator isnt a paper weight like mine is.

put ...

Mike,
What does a "little bit longer" actually mean?

1 week? 2 weeks? 1 month? 2 months? 6 months?

I don't know about you guys, but Ive managed commercial product runs, and we always had planning dates for all releases in the future.

Ive had my predator now for 3.5 months and cannot use it at all ...

Mike you are in error!

You do not support the CAL IDs for the current version of the 6.0 2500HDs in U7194. I have been asking for this for months (3 months to be exact), with no date as to when the new calids are available.

Here are the 2500HD cal ids that are currently NOT SUPPORTED

The tool ...
