I would expect that 87 octane would reduce the mpg, regardless of the tune in the '09+ hemis, because of the compression ratio. The 345hp hemis (which is what yours should have) should be able to run it, though. Please report back and let us know some longer term findings. I'm very interested.

I'm running the MPG Booster tune on my '09 Hemi Ram. Is it supposed to make MDS (Fuel Saver) come on more often? I've been running the tune for a couple days, and it actually seems to be in Fuel Saver mode less often than with the stock tune. I haven't noticed an appreciable difference in mileage ...

I occasionally notice my trans shudder under WOT, usually at around 30-40mph. It seems to happen when it can't decide if it wants to downshift or not. It will shudder rather significantly 5-10 times and then either stop, or downshift (which stops the shuddering). I'm running one of the smoothed MDS ...

I would really appreciate it if you could smooth the MDS in my tune as well. I actually went back to stock for a couple months because the surging was driving me nuts. I'd really like to be able to run a tune on the truck with smooth MDS!

That is something you will have to take up with Dodge. The same thing happens when you use a dealer tool to flash the vehicle. If we had control of that then of course we would turn it off.
