Logs download as .txt files?

When trying to view other's posted logs, they open as .txt files when downloaded. How do I download/save them so I can view them with dv3.3?

When saving posted logs; may need to change the filename extension to *.LOG. Also, put them in "My Documents\Dataviewer\logs" folder.

Your computer is setup to open .log files with notepad. You can either change the file association of a .log file to DataViewer, or just go to DataViewer and open the log that way.

Thanks for the info. I tried doing that and while some work suitably, others are "corrupt files." It must be something with older log files that were posted some time ago.

Yeah, older logs got messed up by the forum at some point. Anything posted recently should work.
