the only time it reads 0.00 is at idle. at a steady 2000 rpm it is all over. clear up to 5.00 what is the most we can advance the timing on these.how much total timing is safe

no they are not the same man... hahaha... every vehicle is different and runs differently... no matter if it's the same year/make/model/engine or not... someone in the area where they live may need to adjust their fuel setting to -5%... while you, in your area and weather conditions, may need to adjust yours by only -3%, or maybe +2%....

that's why you need to log/monitor the data for YOUR specific truck and make the necessary adjustment that's correct for YOUR vehicle...

here's info on how to do a cruising log to check your ltfts, how to adjust your fueling, and what parameters you need to log/monitor...

they will go up/down when you let off, get on the gas... that's normal and doesn't matter...

look at what they're reading when you're driving/cruising steady on the highway, like the info at that link tells ya...

One the subject of LTFT's Do I want WOT slope within the -2-0 range as well? Im at about +4 now, I kicked em down about -5 as per the thread recomendataion.

After getting the LTFT's dialed i def noticed a difference, runs good. IMO

no... you need to get the normal driving/cruising average ltft's in the 0 to -2 range (get to be at -1.xx or -2.xx)... then at WOT, they should be 0 or slightly negative...

the ltft's are not used for WOT - only for part-throttle normal driving, so don't try to adjust them for WOT, because you will screw up your part-throttle fueling...

Ok yeah i got that. ltft are steady -1.56,
Under WOT Fueling you have 3 RPM ranges to adjust correct? SO around 0 or just under would be good. Yeah I used the wrong term (slope), meant fuelling. Sorry

my injector slpoe is at -11. that put my ltft between -2 and 0 at a stedy cruise 55mph. seems fine. i am not getting any knock with a +10% adjustment. i only ever see knock at lower rpms. it was that way stock. i have not added timing to 2000 - 4000 rpm range.
