Trying to load CROM v.9r23 onto my used U7135; takes v.9r12, but I need more recent version for my
2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8
Screen reads "Incompatible hardware. (No serial flash found).
While used, I bought this Predator from another enthusiast after confirming on the Diablosport website that the U7135 had a CROM update that includes the 2010 Jeep GC SRT8 (no mention on the website that there might be hardware limitations). Thanks.

From the U7135 downloads page on this site:hdmichigan wrote: (no mention on the website that there might be hardware limitations).
If you attempt to update your Predator to the latest crom and it gives you a serial flash error message you will need to go back to 9r12.
If you are trying to update the Predator for use on an 09 vehicle, please post up on our forums or give us a call and we will get you a crom file for the older Predator to make it work with the 09.

RE: Re: RE: Same Problem
Thanks for your help, took me a while to figure how to do that though. For others searching after opening DS Tuner choose the "corupt..." option, follow the instructions from there....
Out of curiousity, does this mean that I miss out on 'improvements' that came after this version?
