'06 LBZ/Allison won't start after tune install

Post by GVWR »

Updated my U7186 to 9r11 before first use. Now no matter what tune I install, the truck turns over, but doesn't start. Back to original and it starts fine.
What gives?

It also tells me I can't modify anything (like tire size) with the engine/transmission combo I have selected.
Really? Isn't the Allison the most common tranny for the DMax?

Have I really done something that wrong today?
Please help!!!

Mike, need to get the 9r11 off of here. I'm sure many are using it and having the same problems as above and that I had. The 9t12e is and has been working great :)

Hi Mike. I am having very similar issues. I just went through the 9r12 deal on a customers 7186 tool. I finally got a 9r11 download in it, and it updated fine. I put in customers truck ('06 or '07) and now it starts right up and then dies. Will the 9t12e fix this? thanks for any help.
