Odd.
We have seen it turn the screen to lines when you plug it in, thus we recommend not doing that, but I have never seen one not be recognized.
Did you try to see if anything else can format the card?

Your on 1r08 Correct?
Have Trinity powered off before inserting SD-Card (with Trinity facing up); have the 9 gold pins facing up and notch on left when inserting card. Then power Trinity up.

Select Options->SD Card Operations->Properties should show (appox 62000) Total clusters and 1G+ Bytes avail for a formatted 1GB SD-Card.

It's either your Trinity or the SDCard. Make sure it's less than 2GB and it "clicks" in place when inserting in Trinity.

IF you have a PC/Laptop or digital camera; Try the SDCard in that and see if it detects and formats it. Or, try another SDCard.

I have exact same problem with my trinity and 512MB SD card. I have also tried other cards but no success.
I just get the message "SD card not installed or detected"....

I can't drive my truck without a Trinity b/c we turbocharged it. I was hoping this wasn't the issue. Oh well, guess no SD Card option for me.
Did you get the SD card issue resolved Harrison?
