Hi guys,
I would also add that I tried to get the 87 performance to work and its now actually shutting down when cold (forgive my english). It kind of rattle (?) ... need to put some octane to get it around 91 in ordre to having to work properly.

Help?

you mean its stalling?

Now that I removed the program out of the f150, its not stalling anymore. Was those program made for winter? That might sounds odd, but its only happening since its freezing now...

It has been removed, but I have been using the 2 lasts, which were G and H. 1r08g and h that is. There has been 1 version that really worked like a charm, it was the version D... the one prior the tranny update.

Anyhow, as soon it get too cold, it doesnt behave normally...rattle and usually stall.

Thanks!

Ok, since it appears I am the only one with this issue I'll do it myself some other way.
Now, is it possible to get my hand on the update PRIOR the support of the tranny? I think its the 1r08d...

Can you post it please?

Thanks

With the 87 performance, the pickup still needs 91 octane to run properly otherwise it stall or rattle a lot when cold. And cold is pretty much all the time at this time of the year in Québec.

That being said, while he was using the 1r08d it was going around 11L/100km, which is really good. However after that patch it never came back to that and now it gets at 14L/100km at "best".

Why is it doing that? No idea... but ever since that time (1r08d) its not that good anymore.

Did the timeframe that you changed revisions match up with the weather? I don't think the difference is the revision but might be the weather. So let me know about that and I will make some changes and issue an update. The tunes should not have changed between the revisions.

I did change it 2 times (only recently) in order to fix the temperature issue, which did not.
As for the mileage, I agree that I will not do the same as on the summer time... but I know it can do better than 19-22L/100km

Any owner of a F150 5.4L 4x4 ? I would like to have your input/feedback about this product. Especially if you live where it’s cold (-20 Celsius).

Have you ever got any weird behavior from your pickup when it’s cold, in the morning for example?
