I'm sorry, I'd like 1-2 & 2-3 wot shifts @ 6200rpms
load this file. if the tool asks you if you want to reset parameters for the tcm, choose yes, and load this up, let me know.

Thanks

UPDATE: I loaded the tune this morning and reset all parameters. I didn't have much time to run & test it like i should have but i was able to see where i was shifting at WOT. The 1st-2nd shift hit close to the 6200 mark but the 2nd-3rd shift was only around 5500-5600rpms.

What is causing the tcm user adjustments to not apply to the tune? Is there something wrong with my pcm and tcm? I had originally thought it may have been my Trinity so i tried a brand new Intune but the same exact thing was happening. The rev limiter or Transmission user adjustments did not apply to the tune.

I had threw up the idea having the tcm and pcm reflashed or updated but the service tech at the dealership says it wont help.

Just throwing this out there but I get the same results on the tune from my CMR. He also had issues getting the rev limiter adjustment to apply. Every attempt the limiter would kick in around 5800. The final attempt he raise the park/neutral rev limiter to 6300 and that some how raised the rev limiter in Drive. I was able to shift past 5800 but the shifts never would hit 6200 just like it is now.

Basically I have no TCM control.

took a look at your log, and the tune file.

1-2 only spun to 6,053 but should have gone up to at least 6300rpm if all WOT shift triggers are properly set, IMO.

if a shift starts at 6200, you will rev past that a bit before the shift completes.

WOT 2-3 shifts at only 5546rpm, that's at least 700rpm low.

do you have an aftermarket cam? 6200rpm is a bit high for a stock cam.

problem is in the shift tables, IMO.

gonna post some stuff for mikel to add to your tune. mikel fixed the tune he posted so it can't be edited by anyone else.............

other option is you can email me at the email in my sig, and we can start over with a new TCM tune. a lot of the changes in your tune are a bit off, IMO.

mikel (or other Diablo tech),

was not able to fine template 56029223ae, so used an original backup from another 06 ram.

changes to add into speedy's tune are located here in the attached tune:

functions>transmission upshift in overdrive

scalars>transmission upshift

speedy,

DO NOT try to load the tune I just posted, it is from another 06 ram, and has wrong vin#.

it could mess up your PCM if you tried to load it in your truck.

please wait for mikel (or other Diablo tech) to add the key changes into the tune he posted a while back.
