U7193 9r04 logging to laptop

Guys, I have version 3.1.8.2 of Dviewer.. When I try and log with my laptop it connects just fine to the tool, but when I choose my param. and click record it fails.. I have tried leaving default selection all the way down to just one selection and nothing seems to make a difference.. Any help would be great..

ya i guess with the new found U7913 logging to laptop for AFR/WOT it is becoming a hot item.. smile...

John, looks good.. I downloaded latest version and logged successfully with laptop.. One question for you, what is the "Knock Retard" name when hooked up to dataviewer? When I log it with Handheld it shows up under "missfire" as "Knock Retard (deg)) but when I hook up to laptop I do not see that as an option? Thanks

nope guys i dont have either option when connected to laptop and dataviewer... red do you have maximum kr when connected to laptop or when using the handheld for logging?

I KNOW you won't have total knock spark retard as Canuck indicated, cuz that's only available for newer ECM's...

look at the parameters you DO have for knock retard (KR)...

list them here and I'll tell ya what to monitor...

CPM Retard? this is the only one that i see with % deg not count.. I tried to log this one but did not get any hits, just 0%.. not sure what that one is? I have max kr on the handheld but I dont see the same on laptop.. Thanks
