its funny to see the v6ers bitching about waiting a few weeks for the predator to fully cover them, while us dr guys have waited over a year since the "original release date". not to mention the cars that are not yet supported did not even exist when our tuner was supposed to have been released. edpete97, hold your horses, or better yet, buy a HEMI if you want to go fast.....
04 ram reg cab, srt front clip, headman lt headers, hedman y-pipe(catless), flowmaster muscle truck dual side exit, mac cai, airaid spacer, pos sc tune, wires, plugs etc. zex sitting in box waiting for tuner
Hey, you truck guys are waiting for the product to be released. How would you feel if it was released, you spend the money and then it doesn't work with your truck?
Diablo has released this product for V6 chargers/magnum and now it doesn't work. That's a different situation. In the world of customer support, the "support" should come before new development. It has been more than a few weeks since this was reported, try 3 months!

Thanks hatch, couldn't have said it better. You pay the $375 because it supports your car and makes it more efficent, faster, etc... You anxiously wait a week for it to arrive only to find out it doesn't work. Diablo Sport supports quite a few cars according this website. To me, that shows they've been doing this for a while. That being the case, when they have to create new programs, they should know 'about' how long it takes to do so. 'We're working on it' and 'it's in the works' are not good answers. If this is the FIRST time you're doing something then yes, those answers might fly. Diablo Sport, THIS IS YOUR LIVELYHOOD. Don't sit here and tell me you have NO IDEA how long this is going to take. I'm an electronics tech with the US Coast Guard and I have a bachelors degree in Informatiion Technology. I took a an entire year of computer programming and I write code. I've never used it in automotive applications but I can't see it being that much differerent than the applications I do use. What I know is that if you have someone dedictated to support and code updates, it doesn't take 3 months if you have somewhat of a base program. Tell me that updates like this generally take 6 months and I leave it alone. We need a number here. Even if it's a general 2-3 months or 3-6 months. Something. You guys do this for a living. Surely you have an idea about how long these updates take. I understand roadblocks and hiccups occur. I really do. When they occur, you just deal with them and push on. Let your customers know, though. 'We initially expected 3 months, but due to XYZ problem, we anticipate another 3 or 4 weeks.' Things like that can go a long way with your customers. Keeping us in the dark on the other hand is a good way to upset folks and your word of mouth advertising turns negative. Is there a policy with you guys that you're not allowed to give estimates? Bottom line is that this is not a $50 piece of equipment. If it's not going to work within the next 14 days I'm returning it and getting my $375 back because with the economy the way it is, that is just way to expensive of a paperweight to have sitting in my house. This is my first experience with you guys. Don't make it my last!
And for my HEMI ram friend. 'edpete97, hold your horses, or better yet, buy a HEMI if you want to go fast.....' are you kidding me. I've driven Mustang GT's, 350Z's, a Corvette, and a HEMI Grand Cherokee. The only 'Fast' thing about a HEMI (or V8's for that matter) is my trip to the gas station. If I can gain some performance in my low insurance, low car payment, economical, good looking, highly capable, high potential V6, you better believe I'm gonna do it...knowing the whole time I'm gonna have money left in my pocket every month and not have to 'LIVE' in my car or truck. Peace!

Hemismoke345, Imagine if you will that you own a Xbox 360. It's a great system and you really enjoy it. But then you hear Halo 4 is coming out soon. Sure the other games are cool, but Halo is the shit! You wait for Halo to come out. But in the meantime your Xbox gets the red ring of death. You send it back to Microsoft, they fix it and "update" it. You get your Xbox back, and Halo 4 is available. However, the super bad ass edition of Halo 4 costs $375 and it's gonna take you sometime to save up for it. Finally, you break open your piggy bank and buy Halo 4. You hurry home, throw it in, and guess what, IT DOESN'T FUCKING PLAY IN YOUR XBOX! All your buddies are playing it and they tell you how awesome it is. You call Bungie, and they tell you an update will be available on Xbox live and Halo 4 will work on your system in 2-3weeks. THAT WAS MONTHS AGO!!!! All we're saying is we want to play a little Halo 4. Is that too much to ask?
that is the funniest analogy...it is only funny because I am not affected by your problem. hurry up diablo, alot of people like halo and want to play it.rodhicks wrote:Hemismoke345, Imagine if you will that you own a Xbox 360. If I had known this I would NEVER had bought the predator! It will probably be winter before this gets resolved and I won't put the tune in then anyway, not while possibly having to drive in snow and bad weather. I honestly can't believe that customers of a $375 product can't even get an ETA on a fix for this. I guess its like Steve Miller said.... "take the money and run" Diablo.
Dude, blame DCX if anyone, if you had any idea what work is involved when calibrations are updated you would not make such comments, but you do not so i can not expect more.
All i can say it is in the works.
