idle is rough

Post by ozzie »

I have an 07 Dodge 3500 with a 5.9L and I just installed a programmer in it and it is idling rough, I was wondering if this is to be expected because it stops when the stock program is put back in. On the tach it's reading about 720rpm on the performance stage and if I bring it up to 800 it levels off again.

Same here. Rough idle on any tune. As soon as I "tune on the fly" to stock, idle goes back to normal.

Love the tuner. I wish it wasn't so stinking big. A monitor similar to the edge would be great. I had the edge w/ attitude monitor but it just didn't have near the power as the diablo or superchip. I ordered a quadzilla commander monitor. It has several monitoring options and will defuel, but i'd like something small to control the predator.
