Been awhile, but I'm back with a ls1 hot cam question.......

Hey guys, I just put in a LS1 Hot Cam. It will idle if you feather the gas on startup. Also I was logging missfires, and I get 1-4 everywhere, and about 30 on number 3. Wasn't doing this before the cam, so i put in a new plug, and wire on number 3, and it still does it. Is this just because of the cam? I will be getting a tune in a couple of weeks. I was wondering if Mikel, or Monte could do anything up to get me by untill then. Thanks guys! P.S. The ls1 hot cam is 218/228 .525/.525 on a 112 lsa. Thanks again for any input!!!!!!!!!!!

Cams will cause misfires, thats normal.

Post the tune, we can disable the misfire monitors for the meantime...

Ok...Here is my current tune. So can u do me something up to get me by for a few weeks? The cam is a 218/228 .525/.525 lift 112lsa Thanks! I would like it to idle close to stock........Thanks again!

Well, only thing thats going to change now is you wont get misfire codes...
