U7137 Out of Memory

Post by gw8816 »

I have a U7137. Installed 9R05 today, and tuned the truck with the 93 perf tune. Downloaded the original back-up to save. Now when trying to download the last tune written, i keep getting an "Out of Memory" message on the predator. I've tried it three times with the same results.

Anybody have any ideas on how to clear the memory?

I havent had the chance to hook up mine to the computer yet. I have the predator updated to the 9R05. See if I have the chance today.

I got the same message yesterday. All you need to do is re-install the 93 tune again.

I just got my predator and I also got an "Out of Memory" error.

First plugged it in to my truck ('09 Ram 1500, 5.7L Hemi) and got a message saying that my vehicle needed an update. Did the DCX update, and at the end of the update, just after a bunch of key cycles, it gave me that "Out of Memory" error. Unplugged the predator when it prompted me to, turned the key off, and then I was able to download the original backup and write the 87 tune with no more errors.

Question for the Diablosport staff: Is this "Out of Memory" error something to be concerned about? Is it something that either needs to be fixed or will be fixed in a future crom release?

and a side question for anybody that knows the answer- what does DCX stand for, and what exactly does that do to the vehicle?

I took the truck back to the original state. Re-installed 9R04, and installed 93 can tune. Hooked up to computer and backed up original and last tune written. Go back to 9R04, fixed the problem. I can only surmise that 9R05 has a bug. Atleast so much as retrieving the last file written. Hope this helps others experiencing this issue.

I had this issue as well. Can get the info tomorrow if you like.

It was during the initial Performace Tune step. The step took a good 10-15 minutes, had me turn the key off, back on, then off and back on, at which point it said out of memory. I then proceeded to put the 93 tune on, it backed up my stock and put the 93 on without error. I now have my stock tune on my PC :)

I'm having the same issue on 56029161AF. Attempting to datalog via PC immediately shows "Out of Memory" on the tool.
