LTFT

Post by randall »

I got the LTFT set in the 2000 rpm range to run -2 to 0 which is about 55 mph. When im on the Hwy. running 70 around 2400 rpm LTFT are at -4 to -6. What should be done to make this more consistent. u7193 2.03version, 240sx with engine swap, 04 gto 4l60e, ram air, ported throttle body, long tubes, 2.5 duals with xpipe no cats.

Wow, nice car dude. I think the reason for the change in LTFTs are due to the fact that your running at a higher RPM.

yep... ^ ^ ^ ^

wow, high rpms at a 70mph cruise... is that what you normally cruise at, 65-70mph? cruise at your normal speed/rpm, and adjust the stuff based on that scenario...

Thanks, Yah thats with a 3.54 diff. and 235 45 17 tires. The stock gear was 4.08 that i swaped out before i got the engine done. I know it would have be way low for the auto. I may swap it out some time and take it to the track.

You may want to see about changing to a 4L80E trans, if I'm not mistaken the 4L60E is a five speed auto and the 4L80E is a six speed auto. The extra gear helps with highway cruising.
