Original backup gone after software update

Just did the newest update yesterday to my Intune. After the update completed I noticed there were no files in my tunes folder and all my log files had left the building as well. So now my original OEM file is gone. Anyone else have this happen?

Yes, all my data logs, custom tunes and oem tune Gone! However, I did back up everything onto my pc!!! Also, I restored the oem tune back into my car prior to any updates! So all was saved. The only issue I had after the update was installing my custom tune back into my car. The Intune said it was in it, but during the tuning process no custom tune bar. So I erased the custom tune in the Intune, reinstalled the custom tune from my pc backup into the Intune and downloaded it into the pcm. It all worked!
I highly recommend to do the following:
Back up Everything before installing the update!! Restore oem tune into the PCM prior to updates !!

I wish I had followed the same path you did. Fortunately I had a backup of my files on my pc as well. Now I just need to figure out how to put my original OEM file back on the Intune so it recognizes that I have a custom tune installed.

you can not you will have to send us the orignal backup you had from the tool and the backup it takes now and send it over to support @diablosport.com and we will build a file for you to get the truck back to stock. similar to a calibration update done on chrsyler vehicles.

having the original backup from before helps make the process a little faster but it still takes a little bit of time for our engineers to create the file.

so again please send those files to [email protected] and we will get you back to stock so you can use the tool again.

I understand about sending you the backup I had of my original file. What do you mean "the backup it takes now"?

yes the backup the tool takes now is good. as we can reverse engineer it to create a calibration update file. to get your car back to stock so you can tune it.

it does not matter what it is we will take that file and set it back to stock

Yes, drag/drop it to the intune drive, and then load the cal update to the vehicle.

I've done the same thing...updated the inTune without restoring the factory tune...I've zipped up my old and new files, along with both of the XML files...and sent them to support.

you can just let it do a calibration update...
