Fans on always

2007 Magnum 5.7

Put the new rev 93 oct tune in for the first time. The engine fans are on all the time. I'm at 5000 ft and it's 20 degrees out side. I really doubt I need the fans. Wazup?

Try the latest revision, it has the fan temps back to stock.

I had the same problem. I am working the fire station today but in the morning I will post my fan settings. Since I have changed them, my fan doesn't kick on anymore.

Here are my fan settings:

Low- 217.39 Med- 226.39 High- 226.39

A/C Off

High MPH HS - 226.39
High MPH LS - 217.39
High MPH MS - 226.39

Low MPH HS - 228.39
Low MPH LS - 217.39
Low MPH MS - 226.39

Get a 180 Tstat it will take care of everything.

I'm running a 180*F t-stat that indicates coolant temps of 185-188*F in the EVIC. According to DS there is a 10*F range between the fan on temperature and the fan off temperature, so to keep the fans from running continuously I'm running my fans @ HS = MS = 207, and LS = 197. I've seen the LS shut off at 189*F.

thank you I went to adjust them and notice that I had them set at 183.99 for all of them so I did raise them up and it solved it thanks again

Good information here. What would you folks suggest if your running a 170 tstat?? thx
