its the same thing as techron in chevron gas.. we had a bio fuel engineer in class spaeking to us and i asked him the same thing.

ive never noticed any knocking when the car was stock but sounds like a plan i'll put the stock tune back in and wait for my catch can its on order and should be here anytime now. can i still run my fan lower settings with the stock tune? thanks quick

so i backed off the timing a bit and its still knocking!!!! im frustrated now... so if im stopped and run through the gears the knock is minimal 1.5 to 3 the most. but sometimes while running through the gears the knock jumps to 6 or 7. also when im holding a gear anywhere from 3.5k to 5k rpm and ...

mine does it too. i fixed it with skill...LOL i figured it wraps out first gear so fast you gotta be quick too.

i have the exact same problem and cant seem to tune it out. by adding fuel i elimated most of the knock during wot thru the gears but between shifting and stomping the gas is where i cant bring it down. i am gonna try pulling a degree of timing.

for you rick try adding fuel first.

ok so im at 15% rich knock is at 2.5-3 but when i shift sometimes it spike to 5 or 6 and i cant get rid of that why? i thought i had the tuning dialed but when i went out today i had to keep adding fuel. any recommendations? quick what is your settinggs at we have the same mods maybe i can use yours ...
