Mike this is just for the R/T's?? The reason I ask is I updated mine and I see the option for the 6200/6400, but last night I updated a friends to r29 and on his SRT he doesn't have those options. Both 2010's
Thanks

RE: u7135-9r29 issue
Yeah, i hear ya as I drag race just about every weekend in a mid 9sec street car and a couple times a month in the challenger so I am pretty familiar with trq/Hp relationships. I have tried shifting lower in the challenger and lost tenths in the 1/4. My challenger will actually break them loose, not ...

RE: u7135-9r29 issue
I don't understand how this is either. That 0-60 timer is fun, but way too many variables play a part in that. Take it to the track and shift it yourself at 5000 and you will see that car is not running as good as you think at those shift points.

Mike, this is one of the only car related sites I can get to at work. LOL I will send a couple links from other challengers boards later. Maybe these issues that I am speaking of are not exactley the problem chaotic is having. I have no surging so to speak.

RE: Idle
I am very familiar with cams and what they do, my point is that this is a common trait. My first post on a couple challenger websites was what the heck is up with this idle. Maybe his didn't do it before so that brings up another question. My dealer said they haven't been able to figure it out on ...

RE: Idle
Goodluck. My Car has done this crazy idle thing from day one. With or without the tune and there are plenty of folks with this issue if you search the boars. My dealer has no idea and many members have told me theirs haven't found a problem either. I just live with it. My custom tune does it as well ...

RE: 0-60 Times
that is very respectable. I had no wheel spin on mine either because I roll into it. Same way I launch at the drag strip now. been 12.90's on stock RSA's in an R/T with nothing more than the predator, borla catback. That was with stock air box.

RE: 0-60 Times
Mine is 4.70 in my R/T. While it is fun to play with now and then, there are really way too many factors involved with comparing those times. I have seen times posted as low as 4.40's on an R/T and high into the 6's. There isn't that much differnec in these cars performance. it is a mutlitude of ...

mine does this now with my 2010 challenger with r28 as well. I was going to start a post about it as well, but figured i would throw my .02 in here.

I will try that. WOnder why the predator states "you may now unplug the predator" never states turn the car off. Figured someone would have told me that the 2-3 times I called tech about it. Oh well. No harm.

RE: Check engine light after uploading tune
yeah, my one out of 3 times might be more like 1 of 5 times. I just know I have had it a few times in the last year. A friend with an SRT gets it every single time he changes one of the modes for the trans.

RE: Predator 9r27 vs 9r28 crom
The only dif from what I understood is that the 28 covers some of the newer calibration ID's. It also has the new throttle boost function for the auto's. You can run it like it is now, or update to the 28.

RE: Dealer PCM flash. What do I need to do first?
No pro here, but this is the way I understand it and operate as I have a couple custom email tunes I run.
First, do you have the custom tune saved on your computer, hard drive, usb stick or something? if so, then just return your car to stock. When you do that it will erase the custom tune on the ...

I get this code 1 out of 3 times I use the predator. talked to folks at diablo a couple times and nobody seems to know why. Search google for this code and challenger and you will get a bunch of hits for all LX vehicles.
It is actually a "lost comm with TCM" code, but yet the predator doesn't talk ...
