Original Back Up Corrupted

06MonteSS,

More information for you...

I had a performance shop swap out my stock 2.73 differential to a 3.42 and he made some adjustments with his tuning software and reloaded it into my Predator U7193. I just found out that my custom tune is now corrupted and so is my "Original Back Up" on the ...

Thanks Mike!

So I would do the same logging as I have done before but now I can get a good WOT run in without heading off to jail :normal: and getting my Corvette impounded.

I suppose that after my logging and uploading to my PC, DSLogRedux will analyze my readings and suggest lots of changes :P

Logging & Modifying Performance Tune on the Dyno

Is this advisable or waste of money?

Any suggestions for this?

I have my LTFTs dialed in but I want to adjust other parameters.

OK... Now that I adjusted my LTFTs to -6%

Should I adjust my PE -3% in all three RPM ranges?

Lew,
When I run my latest Log on DSLogRedux, I get this error message when I click on the "Verify Log Parameters": "The maximum number of parameters handled by this application is 40. Please trim your csv file, or log fewer parameters"

What is your recommendation? How do I trim my csv file ...

yes...

BUT, what was your intake air temp when you did the log?

if the intake air temp was only in the 70's or low 80's, then I would leave it set at the -4 and not make the change... because once the normal warm/hot summer weather hits, then your fuel trims will drop more... so if they're at 1 ...

Lew,

Thanks!

The Intake Air Temp was exactly as you stated. I'll reset my LTFTs back to -4% and wait for the hot temps to come in (someday).

You're my Predator God!

Hey Lew!

I went in and adjusted my LTFTs but I need to confirm that I did it right.

After my first data logging, DSLogRedux suggested -4% so I modified my Diablo Tune LTFTs to -4%.

After my second data logging, DSLogRedux suggested another -2% so I modified my Diablo Tune LTFTs to -6% since the ...

Predator Tune - 2004 Corvette

Been super busy but I finally got my second Log done.

LTFT Bank1 = 1.28433%
LTFT Bank2 = 1.78461%

DSLogRedux recommends Injector Slope -2%

Gonna make some time and run my third Log soon.

That Custom Tune is getting closer and closer!!!

I roughed in my LTFT after my first logging and felt another good boost in power. Ready to go for my second logging this weekend but have a question before doing so.

When I did my initial logging, I struggled to keep the engine RPM at 1500 in drive. I know that the ideal RPM should be at 1800 ...

That's what I didn't do... "Export to CSV".
I just "saved as .csv" and then opened it in DSLogRedux. Got the error message when I tried to "verify". Also I may not have had all the required log items.

The Powerpoint was just a screen print of the logging data from Dataviewer.

Thanks for the great ...

I attempted my first Log but was unable to run the analysis with DSLogRedux. I'll have to work on that a little more.

Anyway... I'm hoping you can take a peek at my Powerpoint file and tell me what data I could use for modifying my Diablo Tune parameters.
