You can use it on both trucks, but not at the same time. You must restore the original back-up on whichever truck you wrote the tune to, then the unit is "unlocked", and you can write the tune to the other truck. PITA, but you probably don't need the tune on more than 1 truck at a time. If you do ...

I have been looking through the menus, but cant find it anywhere. I have U7170 (v.7r19d). Do I need to update?

You will probably need the hardware upgrade, also. Do you know how old the Predator tool is? It may have the smaller memory which crashes when you try to update to the newer revision ...

After you e-mail the invoice, you must call them. Be prepared to be on hold for a while........... You will need to have the tool powered up (plug into OBD port) and when they pick-up, they will walk you through the button-pushing sequence to reset your tool......

Check your invoice from Ford dealer. There is probably a line item showing the PCM re-flash. You will need to fax or e-mail the invoice showing the flash to DiabloSport, then call them. They will walk you through resetting the programmer. Ask me how I know.......

The probe is mount post-turbo read the drivers side header.

What do you consider a short period and how much EGT heat is too much?

Are you saying it is in the exhaust manifold, driver's side? Then that is pre-turbo (exhaust gas from your manifold spins the impeller, then goes out the exhaust ...

Is your probe mounted pre- or post-turbo.

Pre-turbo 1200° i s okay for very short periods. Figure your limit is ~ 200° less for post-turbo mount.
