180F Tstat: Cannot adjust fans
I used to be able to go into quick adjust, select what type of thermostat and also adjust the fan speeds. Now I do not have that option. Is there a fix for this?

Re: Issues after update
So what's the plan when I receive my Trinity back?
Should I just fire it up in the vehicle and call you guys?
Do I need to update it prior or load my custom tune?
Please let me know.

Re: Issues after update
Update: Seems like the stock tune is stuck on the PCM and the tool will not allow me to upload my custom tune or save a back up. It still states that the tool is not married to the vehicle and new registry.

Re: PID not logging
That's correct.
DV version is at 3.4.0.3
Unfortunately, I won't be able to determine Trinity level for another 6 hours but it has been updated within the past month. I will post once I pick up my car after work.

Re: PID not logging
Both. I have the PID included in my pages when I monitor/log on the Trinity and also in DV when viewing the logs.mikel wrote:are you looking at it on the Trinity or DV?

Re: PID not logging
Mods,
I am in the process of retuning and will be doing logs tomorrow. Can you please provide some feedback so I can make sure to log the PIDs my tuner needs?
Not sure if it's an update issue or if that PID is just not possible for me.
Thanks!

PID not logging
My tuner says he needs Fuel Injector Pulse Width Cyl 1 logged. When I try to monitor or log this PID, no values show up.
Shouldn't I be able to log this PID?

Stuck in demo mode?
After recording a log and transferring the file to my computer, once I return to my car, I notice that I may be stuck in demo mode. A message shows "The Trinity will now walk you through the vehicle selection process" and wants to me to choose year, make, model etc.

does it recover quickly?

It's usually at the shift, and recovers fairly quick. I have noticed it on expressway driving as well. I currently do not have a catch can on the car.

Seeing some knock
So since the weather has gotten warmer here in Michigan, I'm starting to see some Short Term Knock Retard on the positive side. For example, on a typical day, I will get anywhere from 1-2.50 degrees of knock and sometimes I have seen knock as high as 5.5 degrees of knock...

Re: Gains With Ported Throttle Body?
I cant see it adding much at all. Gotta remove restrictions to see gains with airflow mods, and i doubt the TB is a restriction at stock power level.
Alright, Thanks. I was curious because I had an individual claim that it would give me much better drive ability response and 12 hp/tq. I'm just a ...
