Is there a 9r28l?

Post by Mike_Levy »

Mike? I wanna play with the throttle booster. Is there an "l" version of 9r28 yet? Stuck with 9r12 for now because of the stupid memory issue (can't it be repartitioned to allow more CROM space and less logging space?).

I'm gonna blow this transmission sky high before I replace it.

l version is a shorter version that goes with the older predators because they have less memory space.

Hi Mike where did you get it from. I have a new computer with windows 7. I tried to save it to my desk top but it would not do it. Must be doing some thing wrong.

I got it from Mike Licht. I have Win7 too and it saved fine. When you click Download, you should get a window with choices of Find, Save or Cancel. Hit Save. You'll get a prompt for what to save it under and where. Pick the place you want it, leave the filename as is. Save As type should be CROM file. Hit Save and it should download to where you just put it.

The crom v9r28l updates my predator fine-ok.
Connect predator to 2006 300C 5.7l export model and message displayed
"v9r28l does not support this vehicle CAL ID"

Guess I'll have to revert to v9r12 unless someone can offer work around for me.
cheers

I'm thinking they probably remove the early CalIDs to make the files smaller. They need to remove something, so thats what I'd expect.
