Attempt to update my Predator with latest software revision

Ok, when I tried to download from the link on this page, it would only save as a .php file. When I went to the downloads page on this website, it let me download it as a .crom file. So, I downloaded the 9r02 file and attempted to apply it. Same problem as with the 9r01 file. After applying it, it will not reboot and just has a blank screen. Not sure why the old 8r10 crom works and applies flawlessly and the new ones won't.

I just downloaded file again and saved it to my desktop, it is a CROM file! Where are you saving file to? Try saving to desktop, see what happens, it should save as CROM DOCUMENT.

Bill, I think you misunderstood my last post. When I went to the downloads page, I was able to download it as a CROM file. My Predator tool still won't function after applying the new CROM file.

Still no luck with the new version. Is there something else that could be causing the Predator to accept the application of the older version and not the newer versions?

OK, you must have an older tool that will not work with the newer file.
Please reload 8r10 and use that.

What operating system are you running?, Everytime I download the file it s a crom doc. Try left clicking, see if it gives different save option.

I used the alternate file version posted in this thread by Mike. Once the download completes my Predator Lightning reboots and then gives an error message "application missing". I can reinstall v8r9 just fine. My serial number is 2000012 toad-1114645118.

8r9 will be that latest revision that you can use then.
