I have a few simple questions that I hope are easy to answer.
1. What is the latest update on the i1000 for GM trucks (2008 specifically). I'm not sure what version I currently have.
2. I had to get a new computer and can't find my truck's stock file on my old one so I need to pull it off the ...

Do I need to update Intune i1000?
I need to take my truck back to stock. Do I need to hook the intune up to my computer and have it update or can I retune with the current software version.
I'm not sure which version is currently on the intune or if there is even an updated version.

Re: 4L60E - Firm Shift and Vette Servo
So there should not be any side affects from a potential damage viewpoint with it shifting that hard?

4L60E - Firm Shift and Vette Servo
I'm running a Vette Servo on my 2008 Silverado. If I install the firm shift TCM tune, will the be too harsh from a damage standpoint and "feel?"

2008 Silverado - Reducing Torque Management
When reducing the Torque Management on the GMT-900 trucks with the 4-speed it is not a simple On/Off like the 6-speeds but a range from +20 to -20. Is that +20% and -20% where going more + adds and going more - reduces Torque Management?

Re: Intune TM settings 2007 nnbs 5.3 l 4L60E
What about if wanting to run the modified stock tune and just reduce TM?
What setting should we put on the intune if we want to remove roughly 50% of the TM? Right now I have just AFM turned off with Modified Stock Tune. I also want to reduce TM by about 50%. What setting does it need to be at?

Silverado w/ 4L60E - Reducing TM by about 50%
I am waiting to reduce the TM on my truck by about 50%. My truck has the 4L60E.
I know on the 6-speeds it's either ON or OFF. With the 4-speed, is there a percentage within the programmer or is it a series of negative and positive numbers. What do I need to set it at to reduce TM by about half ...

Use any mini-USB cable with Intune.
I can't find the USB cable that came with my Intune. Can I use any USB to mini-USB cable? I have one for my PS3 that should work.

Re: Tuning back to stock, update before reinstalling?
I have to disagree with that. When I turned just AFM off I actually picked up about 1 - 1.5 mpg on stock tires but lost it again when I put on a one size larger tire. I am still running 87 which is what is recommend from factory and I have not changed the factory tune except for tuning AFM off. I ...

Tuning back to stock, update before reinstalling?
I am having a stumble at the first cold start of the day on my truck (2008 Silverado w/ 5.3L) and I am going to return the truck to stock just to rule that out. I am currently running the Modified Stock tune with just AFM disabled. I've been running it that way for about 10 months or so.
After I ...

Canned tunes - what parameters are altered?
I am considering running the 87 Octane canned tune on my '08 Silverado 5.3L. I am currently only running the modified stock tune with AFM deleated.
What parameters are adjusted on the canned tunes, specifically the 87 Octane? I'm not looking for specifics, just things like TQ reduced by X %, etc ...

Re: '08 Silverado - Mod stock to 87 Tune w/ stock TCM
Perfect. I don't have any sort of TCM tune on the vehicle now so I would assume selecting "no" would be the better choice. Or if I selected "modified stock tune" it would load the TCM tune which would just the stock tune if I don't mess any any of the adjustable parameters (or since I haven't ...

Re: '08 Silverado - Mod stock to 87 Tune w/ stock TCM
Ok, thanks.
I wasn't sure because when I loaded the modified stock tune I thought there was something that said "load TCM tune" or something like that and I said no so I wasn't sure if it was the same when doing the 87 Canned tune.
