6.2l and k.r.? i sure read alot of post w/ kr problems. i have the same truck ..lower the spark advance .5 degrees..all the logging in the world wont combat to much timing advance. even 98 octane wont fix to much timing advance...i messed w/mine for months ..finally lowered my timing and no more ...

could not get the audible k.r. stopped w/logging....so i changed spark to retard 1 degree...no more knock..(i was wondering if i should have gone w/ 1/2 a degree)...so i guess i am happy...i just upgraded my u1794 to the latest revision. ..i really feel a smoother excelleration and doesnt seem to ...

WELL..???? i am curious how its going as i as experienceing the exact same sounds....and yes..it is k.r. plain and simply too much timing advance on the performance tune. in my non expert opinion,

its very hard to get better gas mileage, seems i am constantly testing for the hp increase.......flooring it!!

i have the same truck,.....i love it...i had problems w/my speed limiter till i downloaded the 9r05 crom it shifts out of 5th gear into 6th at 120mph... i think top speed is around 145mph...i have about 10,000 miles on it ...i love it! ..though after several logs i still get light pinging ...

WELL... i am an idiot...i just found out after owning my 08 sierra denali truck for 2 months..it aint go no DOD or vvt or anything..was not offered on the 6.2l....so i dont know why but,, when i changed the dod to off on the ds is most certainly has more response on quick downshifts....i removed the ...

its jumping alright..lol.....i got the dod turned on and star removed..i reset all and started over w/my other ltft and speed removed..test drive it a couple weeks and just check my fuel mileage w/it dod on and see it surge disappears now

i have it....i got it to do instant mileage..but never saw the v4 or v8 part of it..on my tune i was unable to get the star removed from the dod when trying to turn it to ON... to see if it still has the on-off on-off on-off feeling.

my 08 sierra denali w/u1794 87tune , 91octane... i have been getting a surge on the sd at cruise speed around 55 when i am going uphill or slowly trying to increase speed. it feels like a plug missing..i finally realized after weeks of this..the surge or missing feeling is the transmission .......i ...

my 08 sierra denali is doing the exact same thing described....it gets a surge about 60mph when going up hill...about 1600rpm when you are just barely giving it a bit more gas to keep the speed the same... the rpm guage fluctuates and feels almost like it's cutting out like a bad plug...other wise ...

the holes are right before the throttle body on the side where the seam is just behind the gasket at the tb...i am sure it could get dust in the hole...i went straight for an oil change after fixing the leaks

well...just got through running a log to dial in the ltft's and installing the new tune and for some reason decided to check out the volant...just to be sure...as i had read post about leaks can cause problems...i found 2 holes in the plastic tube near the tb....i dont know how i missed them when i ...
