the purpose in the firm shift tunes is to turn off the traction control to allow for more aggressive shifts, so you're in a way contradicting the tune by turning it back on. i would just install a normal kn tune. that gives you the choice to turn your tcs on or off yourself. i have a firm shift tune ...

then what's the difference in mufflers and resonators... i.e slp shotgun resonators or slp loudmouth mufflers... i found some pypes pype-bomb exhaust that i want to get but one website says they have newly designed m80 mufflers and another says they're resonated tips.

i'm going to put hi-flow cats back on... put i just got pulled over for defective mufflers, i wasn't planning on putting mufflers back on it cuz i love the way it sounds. could i put resonators on instead of mufflers???

yeah i think that would be the biggest benefit to me... i just don't want to lose much of the sound, cuz i love the way it sounds now.

2006 mustang gt... u7140... i'm currently running o/r x-pipes with no mufflers. i am about to get JBA shorty headers, but i don't it too get much louder. i was told that i could get hi-flow cats (of course) or resonators. besides the fact that cats are for emissions, what's the difference in the 2 ...

i know that... i'm just saying that i would've loved to buy the tuner and quickly get 30-40hp... cuz that would definitely be noticeable... i mean i've noticed some difference but not anywhere near 30-40...

r u serious??? why doesn't a tuner add that much rwhp to a mustang??? i have the 95mm 93oct w/ aggressive shift tune in my car and it's nowhere near a 30-40hp gain... i mean i have c&l cai, gt500 throttle body, o/r x-pipes with muffler delete, and of course a predator, and my whole setup isn't even ...

2006 gt u7140 original revision.... just wondering how much a custom tune would cost... i have a catless, muffler delete exhaust and a gt500 throttle body that i could use a tune for. just don't want to pay arm and a leg. cars running great, no CEL or anything just wanting the most out of the mods.

is there a generic CAI tune on the tuner? if there is you could use the right generic tune and it will work just the same.

hahaha... yeah i know what you mean. anytime i see a burner it just makes me laugh. and now it'll be even worse. i try to be considerate when it comes to that... especially after 9pm...

yeah... i was reading alot that flows and o/r x pipes don't go together... but i just spent $100 and got straight pipes and new tips put on it literally an hour ago. no more raspiness and my god does it sound absolutely beautiful now. i'm just glad i got the result i wanted without spending ...
