MPG Booster tune seems to be best

Good Afternoon, I have used the predator a few years now and have used all of the tunes. I have been on this forum for 5 years and read all of the discussions regarding knock, adding fuel, the importance of a catch can, shell gas is no good, CMR tune, etc. Oddly enough my RT still seems to respond b...

Re: Having major issues. Need help.

Who even sold you a Predator? Its been out of production for like 2 years. Its antiquated. Return the Predator and get an inTune. Here we go again.... Mike_Levy making trouble with DS customers and contributing nothing to the original question and further agitating a paying customer. DonW85 let som...

Re: best tune for road trip?

Based on my experience driving alot on the hwy and taking multiple 300+ mile road trips, the stock tune will yield best results. I know for a fact that MDS will kick on quicker in stock form and hold it better in my car. Also, the 93 CAI tune requires premium and adds a bit of fuel at WOT. If you ru...

Reduced torque mgt vs firm shift

I understand the Diablo tunes reduce torque management between shifts which a lot of people like but I heard reduced torque mgt increases stress on the trans while firmer shifts are better for the trans because of less friction/heat buildup. Can someone describe the difference between the two?

Re: MDS Disable. Why?

MDS routinely gets me 28-30mpg on roadtrips with my Challenger loaded with luggage. I agree that it mostly depends on how much hwy driving you do. I love MDS

Re: Successful 2013 installs please chime in!

I've been in a lot of cars of all price ranges and makes and like or dislike something about each of them. To fight over cars and saying one is better than another is foolish and makes us all look bad and suckers for companies that only want your hard earned dollar and at the end of the day the manu...

Re: 2013 Challenger question

[quote="Dodgehemi64"]I have a 2013 Challenger with the 5.7 and automatic trans. I would like to know a few things that I can do with your new tune. I would like to run 87 gas due to the fact I drive 65 miles a day going to work seven days a week. I would like to reduce the torque managemen...

Re: Cleaning out oil before installation

I'm hoping the dealer filled the oil too quickly like discussed here and i don't have bigger problems. It was clean oil and soaked all the way to to the bottom of my AFE intake heatshield.

Re: Cleaning out oil before installation

Thanks for the tips Mike! I'm wondering if perhaps the dealer put in too much oil causing it to splash up like you said. I have never had this problem before. I drive 32 miles to work one way (mostly hwy) and I always check out my intake for oil because i read plenty on here about the need for a cat...

Cleaning out oil before installation

I finally ordered my catch can after noticing oil at the bottom of my AFE intake at 58K miles. It appears the oil is coming through the crank case where the breather hose connects because it was dry at the beginning of the tube towards the throttle body. Does anyone have a good link or instructions ...

Re: 2009 Challenger SRT8 STOCK cooling fan temp settings

Not sure if a supercharger is recommended to have different fan settings but if you go to "modify stock tune" you can view the stock fan settings.

Why does car have smoother downshift with Diablo Tune?

The thing I like the most about the 91 octane tune and mpg booster is that I don't feel a rough downshift that lurkes forward so to speak in stock form. Is this due to less torque management? I just wish the 91 tune has the same low end torque the stock tune has. The mpg booster is great for low end...

Re: Cooling Fan Running Excessively

I have asked this same question about the fans in the predator forum for my 09. Diablosport lowers the fan temp settings and you can go to the modify stock tune option and see what they are set at and modify the fans to the stock settings if you like. Hope this helps.

putting fans to stock settings

I run the mpg booster tune and 91 tune and the fans seem to come on more. I heard Diablo lowers them. I would like to modify my tune to put the fan settings to stock. Does anyone know what the stock fan settings are for my vehicle in my sig?
