OK so what information do you need from my predator so you can write me a tune or whatever so that we can get the injector change fixed? Im new to this, so bare with me.

I have removed the stock DOHC 4.6 and changed to a Navigator DOHC 5.4. I have also changed injectors from stock to the 03 Cobra 39lb injectors. I need to know if this Predator will accomidate the injector change, and will I need to change to a different MAF, or stay with the stock Cobra MAF meter ...

Scott, Your 05 with the "fly by wire" probably wont ever have the same feel as your Foxbody with a manual throttle cable. I would imagine there will always be some slight lag. You should be able to flash it right now. There shouldnt be any issues. Even at 800 miles, thats long enough for that motor to be fully broke in. If it were my car, I would throw the tune to it, and drive it like you stole it. Enjoy!

I would say your problem was the Junk C&L not the Diablo tuner.
