Re: any plans on TPMS deletion or programing

As far as i remember, TPMS is considered a safety device, just like air bags, so even tho they can shut it down, it's to risky for them to do it.

Just wont happen.

Re: AWD 300c hemi tune?

Correct me if i am wrong, but as far as AWD goes, its mechanical, so you cant really make it a RWD by flipping a switch, if this is what you mean. Its either on, or RWD.

Re: Convince me

Trying to convince myself I need the gauges on the trinity but having trouble doing that.

If you plan on having performance from your ride, you do need gauges. You could have 20 gauges inside the car, that it would probably not be enough...at least for me.

But being able to monitor thing like ...

Re: 93 octane tune question.

The catch can is a PCV filtration unit. It is there to stop the oil coming from the PCV entering the intake. The cleaner the intake the better the performance.

If you can, delete the EGR too!

Re: Duramax transmission shift

Maybe the smooth shifting are meant to be more "economical" if you really use a Economy tune. The only thing i remember from a Duramax was anything BUT smooth shifting. Once again, it was a comp truck...

Re: 87 Octane tune question

I know about detonation, but most vehicle you see on the road are driven by old people not using half of their engine. Sure if you tune and race your car on low octane, youll have problem, but for everyday application...i dont think youll see much engine going to hell?

Re: 87 Octane tune question

Well, i dont think running lower octane gas will kill an engine. Most of them are probably made based on the fact that people will run them this way.

Now, engine maintenance is something that most people dont do correctly, and that is the real killer in my opinion!

Re: 87 Octane tune question

87 get you from point A to point B just fine.

91-94 get you there, leaving the competitor behind on your way.

If you can afford to run higher octane, do it. If money is an issue, then you gotta do what you gotta do!

Re: Limp Mode Issues

In my case i never mess around with the autostick, even, if i could totally disable it, i would, its part of my tranny issue so far, i'd recomend using the stock mode...less fun but, tranny trouble sucks!
